The sound quality is excellent, they look good, regardless of whether slightly odd, and the remote provides you with full control of your respective ipod. Basically had been ultra critical, there exists very slight vibration when played at super loud volume, however mean very loud. All in all I'm pleased using the decision I at long last have made. James - See my reviews (REAL NAME) This review is from: JBL Radial Black (Euro/UK PSU) Mac/Win (Electronics) I bought the JBL Radial after auditioning a wide array of MP3 speakers (Bose Sounddock: good but overpriced & limited connection options; Apple ipod hifi: most effective but very muddy at low volumes; Audica MPS1: clear sound but limited bass and expensive; Jamo i300: good bass but not enough clarity; Logitech Audiostation: good user-definable sound but fiddly & way too many bad customer reviews). Compared for the competition, it offered the best general sound - warm with clear vocals, strong bass & good separation given its size. And that's compared with systems stated earlier that are sometimes £50-£100 more expensive. Only fault is the bass can sound thuddy at high volumes, though (as another reviewer said) this might be because of my music being encoded at only 160kbps. And putting the 'bass reducer' on the ipod's EQ settings at high volumes pretty much resolves this problem. Remote control is undoubtedly the best I've come across too - pressing the mode button enables that you not only do normal play/pause/skip track/volume but to also undergo different levels of the ipod's menu! However, once i first heard it, I had been blown away. The sound is phenomenal. The bass is extremely solid, and also the detail with the treble is fantastic wherever you stand. The only a dangerous thing regarding the JBL Radial is who's has a large ugly power brick mounted on it, which type of spoils the look. Plus there's no iPod dock connector for the back, meaning you can't leave your iPod in it, and possess it sync with your Mac/PC.
